Philip Treacy, Solicitor at Coleman Legal, has very recently settled two cases in the High Court both pertaining to settlements for workplace head injuries.

The settlements were achieved during the current Public Health situation by way of telephone settlement negotiations.

The first case that settled was for €100,000 plus costs, relating to an individual that sustained a serious head injury at his place of work, but has thankfully since recovered and returned to work.

The second case was settled for €175,000 plus costs. This individual suffered a very serious head injury and has been left with lifelong physical scarring.
