Experience
Norman Spicer has considerable experience representing individuals in personal litigation matters. These include victims of sexual abuse, survivors of the mother and baby institutions and members and veterans of the Defence Forces in which he previously served for 10 years.
Norman also works on several high-profile multi-party cases, such as claims arising out of the administration of Lariam, illegal Adoption cases and Scouting Ireland sexual abuse. Norman takes a client-centred approach to his work and prides himself on his ability to communicate effectively with clients, even in difficult circumstances.
Education
Norman has practised in civil and personal litigation since 2013. Starting his legal career in New York as an attorney, Norman gained extensive experience as a litigator at home and abroad.
Having served 12 years in the military. Norman graduated from Dublin Business School, where he obtained an Honours Degree in Irish Law, and also from UCD, where he completed his Master’s Degree in International Commercial Law in 2017.
