About

Diane Treanor is an experienced litigation solicitor with responsibility for a broad and complex caseload, including personal injury litigation, medical negligence claims, general litigation, multi-party actions, public liability matters, sexual abuse cases and historic sexual abuse cases.

Diane is recognised for her strategic oversight of litigation, sound judgment, and her ability to handle highly sensitive matters with discretion, care and understanding. Prior to specialising in litigation, Diane built a strong foundation in General Practice, advising clients across a comprehensive range of legal services.

This breadth of experience underpins her pragmatic approach and enables her to deliver clear, effective advice at every stage of the litigation process. Diane also volunteers with FLAC, reflecting her longstanding commitment to access to justice and public service within the community.

Education

Diane Treanor qualified as a solicitor and holds an LLB (Honours) from Griffith College, Dublin. She completed her FE-1 examinations and the Law Society Professional Practice Course in 2014 and was subsequently admitted as a solicitor in Ireland.

Diane Treanor has also been admitted as a solicitor in England and Wales, reflecting her cross-jurisdictional experience and breadth of professional qualifications. Her current practice focuses on litigation, where she advises clients on a wide range of contentious matters, bringing a depth of training, practical experience, and professional judgment to complex disputes.
