Inequality of Arms in Medical Negligence in Ireland

Our medical negligence solicitors team at Coleman Legal Partners are fully aware of and sympathetic to the financial difficulties that face patients who have become victims of medical negligence in Ireland.

While in 2006, the Legal Aid Board instituted a Medical Negligence Unit, operating as a specialist law centre dealing with cases in the health sector, the Board only provides funding to claimants in approximately 10% of the cases advanced against the State every year.
